When a mysterious midnight hum ripples across the valley, the entire town of Etherglade falls asleep and never wakes again. Everyone lies peacefully in their beds—lifeless, frozen in time—except seventeen-year-old Elias Marrow, the only survivor in a silent world. As he searches for answers, Elias discovers signs of an unknown frequency called the Somnus Wave, strange shimmering entities moving through the air, and a distant pulsing beacon on the ridge. But just as he believes he is truly alone, a disembodied voice whispers to him:
